Acceptable Use Policy
Wazomind is a consent-forward assistant for meetings you are a part of. This policy sets out how it may and may not be used. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Consent and recording law
Recording and transcribing conversations is regulated, and the rules differ by place — many jurisdictions require the consent of all parties. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required where you and the other participants are located. When in doubt, tell people you are using an assistant and get their agreement before capturing the other side's audio.
How Wazomind is designed to be used
- As a private aid for you, during meetings you are legitimately part of — sales and client calls, internal meetings, your own interview or presentation practice, lectures you're entitled to record.
- With recording clearly indicated. Wazomind shows a recording indicator and has no covert mode.
What you must not do
- Deceive or cheat. Don't use Wazomind to misrepresent your own knowledge or identity in a live job interview, exam, certification, or any setting where that is prohibited or dishonest.
- Record covertly where consent is required. Don't use it to capture conversations without the consent the law demands.
- Harm others. No harassment, stalking, surveillance of people without a lawful basis, or capturing others' private information without permission.
- Break the law or infringe others' rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights.
- Abuse the service — no attempts to farm our managed AI as a generic API, circumvent metering or billing, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or other users.
- Feed prohibited content — don't use Wazomind to generate or process unlawful, abusive, or exploitative material.
Enforcement
If we believe you've breached this policy, we may limit, suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice depending on the severity. Serious or illegal misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
