Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Wazomind. By using the app or website, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. The service
Wazomind is a desktop meeting co-pilot that transcribes your calls, provides live assistance, and produces post-call summaries. Features vary by plan and platform, and we may improve or change the service over time.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account, your API keys, and activity under them. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 (or the age of majority where you live) to use Wazomind.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Wazomind lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record or transcribe a conversation under the laws that apply to you and the other participants. Wazomind is a consent-forward tool and must not be used to deceive, or covertly where the law requires consent.
4. Plans, billing and trials
- Free tier: a limited number of managed-AI meetings per month, or unlimited use with your own API key.
- Paid plans (Pro, Team) are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, who is the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment and applicable taxes.
- Trials: we may offer a free trial of paid features. Unless stated otherwise, at the end of a trial you move to the free tier — we don't silently charge you.
- Renewals & cancellation: subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per the policy shown at checkout and by our merchant of record.
5. AI output — accuracy and your judgment
Wazomind uses AI, which can be wrong. Suggestions, answers, transcripts and summaries may contain errors and are provided to assist you, not to replace your judgment. Verify anything important before you rely on or act on it. You are responsible for what you say and do on your calls.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Wazomind software, brand and website. You own your content — your meetings, notes and documents remain yours. You grant us only the limited permissions needed to operate the service for you (for example, passing audio to your chosen AI provider to be transcribed).
7. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties (such as your AI provider and our payment processor). Their terms and policies apply to their parts, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wazomind is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using Wazomind at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your right to use the service ends; your local data remains on your device.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Kenya, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
